Did Bob Marley die from Melanoma?

Even though it is uncommon for people of color, especially darker pigment people to develop the skin cancer called Melanoma, it can occur, allegedly, in the case of how Bob Marley died. Or is it so rare that this wasn't the case with Bob Marley's death? Did Bob Marley die of Melanoma or from the poisonous wired boots given to him by a former German SS Agent?

The melanoma theory reads that The late Rastafarian, Reggae Artist Bob Marley was one of those rare cases where this type of cancer took a melaninated person life. According to others, however, they refuse to believe that the root of Marley's death was skin cancer in toe nail and instead died from being poisoned with a carcinogen needled placed in boots given to him by a CIA agent and later treated by a former Nazi experimentalist in Germany until his death.

It's report that Melanoma is about 10% hereditary and you are at risk if at least one of your parents is albus, Latin for white.

Bob Marley, born Nesta Robert Marley, father was a white British plantation overseer who was at least 30 years older than Marley's Jamaican mother (most likely who he met at the plantation) and wed when she was a mere teen no older than 17 or 18 years old.

Despite reports that Bob Marley died from the spread of cancer after declining amputation to his toe nail and possibly right foot due to the infection, that grew after years of having an injured and detached toe nail, the mere fact that one of  parents were white is not totally out of the question and neither is the speculations that he was murdered for possibly being "the most dangerous black man in the world".

It is said, Bob Marley died from a skin infection to his toe nail after it was damaged while playing soccer. It could of been amputated but because of Marley beliefs he refused the removal of his big toe.

I knew that Bob Marley died from cancer but I would of never thought of this kind. Nonetheless, people that don't have darker skin, darker hair and eye color are still at a much higher risk of developing this skin disease than people with darker features.

Whichever theory may be the source that sent Bob Marley to his grave, Bob Marley died in 1981, the same year I was born, reportedly from a malignant disease called Melanoma.

The spread of Melanoma causing brain cancer, lung, liver and stomach caused the death of Bob Marley at age 36.

What is Melanoma and why it causes cancer

Melanoma is the most infectious, fatal and dangerous disease since first detected in the early 70's. Why Melanoma is so malignant and vicious studies have yet to determine per contra, the main factor as to what triggers the mutation that leads to rapid cancerous growth is exposure to heat or light absorbed from the sun.

The definition of Melanoma is a tumor that forms in cells that makes melanin but due to the body failure to natural produce the chemical melanin, a tumor instead develops. Every year, cancer takes the lives of more than half a million Americans and it is estimated that over 2 million people are diagnosed with skin cancers annually.

Cancer is the leading cause of death and skin cancer is one of the top 10. Over the last 3 decades, more people have had skin cancer than all other cancers combined. Melanoma is becoming very common amongst whites who lack the production of Melanin therefore being more than 10 times more likely to develop skin cancer than African Americans and any other group who isn't fair skin, have blonde or red hair, freckles and blue or green eye.

According to Skincancer.org, one person dies from melanoma every 57 minutes, white men over the age of 50 are at a greater risk and melanoma is the most common cancer for adults ages 25-29.

People who suffer with Melanomas are strongly advised to keep from the sun UV Rays and the artificial exposure to tanning beds or tanning lamps. The signs of skin cancer and the symptoms that define melanoma is raised or what is called melanoma moles, brown spots and metastasis, which is the secondary development of the growth from the primary source of cancer that spreads from one organ to another.

Moles are usually harmless however if you have an abundance of moles you could also be at a greater risk of getting the skin cancer melanoma. If treated early melanoma can be curable but because of it's growth pattern it can be difficult to treat if not recognized prematurely.

The research of melanoma histology is the study of the microscopic structure of tissues. It is important to know the histology of a cancer to determine the type of cancer and the best treatment for the stage the skin cancer is in.

Radiation treatment depends and is offered to skin cancer patients depending on how rapid the diseases is spreading and to where the disease has spread.

Some treatments of melanoma skin cancer varies by stage. The treatment offer to you is unique and several treatments are available to you after your doctor reviews your report and medical history.

Optional treatments such as clinical trials, surgery, systemic therapy, targeted therapy and chemotherapy are some options that are successful or have shown some success in the treatment of melanoma.

Stage 0 is usually melanomas that can usually be removed by surgery since it hasn't grown too deep into the epidermis. This approach consist of the removal of the melanoma and about a margin of 1/5 of an inch of the normal skin around the affected area.

Usually within Stage 1 to 3 cancer, radiation treatment, as in the total removal of where the melanomas is present, is recommended and the new treatments being tested in clinical trials are also discussed from doctor to patients.

Stage 4 melanomas are given Temodar due to the spreading from the official site to the lungs, liver and brain metastases. Temodar melanoma, is a chemo drug that is offered to patients with metastatic melanoma alone or combined with other drugs.

Because almost every part of the human organ can get affected, treatments for recurrent melanoma will usually always be discussed with patients who have the skin cancer melanoma.

If melanoma recurs, it usually comes back in the brain, liver and lungs. Melanoma that comes back in the brain can be hard to treat so routinely check ups wit your doctor is strongly advised.

On the occasion that have concerns or worse, your doctor has revealed the "C" word to you, it is imperative to remain calm until you get a second opinion or outside consultant, get further information on the form of cancer, the length of time you have had it, etc and until you have spoken to a trusted love one.

Marcus Bookstore, Oldest Black Bookstore in the Nation dedication Poem

MarcusBookstores.com

San Francisco Cali, Marcus Bookstore is important to keep in it's own right it's a living legacy. It's important not only what I read but who telling the story to me.

Black owned bookstores need to stay on heap, black owned bookstore's are as important as the author is to the books I read. I read and I continue to seek when I go to this black owned bookstore that treats me like family. I go to this bookstore to read coming on home soon, hurricane song, stolen legacy.

All things censored, Not yet. Yvette, Joseph and the warmth of other suns.

Would these book be available for me to read comfortably at Borders or Barnes and Nobles?

Black owned bookstores represent more than bookshelves filled with hardcover or softcover book scales. The Richardsons put up their home to bail out students who were arrested for their participation on, you guessed it, some shit racist.

Black owned bookstores demonstrate unity and asserting that what I read is and will be good for me, liberating for the mind, soul and the body, most likely, at least, this is my experience with this CALI bookstore.

These books in black owned bookstores will be observed and most likely glanced at by the owners themselves since we most likely will have the same interest on books that are written by the same damn Melanin man or WO.

As in WOman, I mean, see I read, word.

Words, black owned bookstores providing content of intellectual lecture to the young minds that it created the whole bookstore for.

Please, baby, please stop making this location a business when it begun as our neighborhood baby and we watched it grow.

Books I found at this Black owned bookstore were good for me and I know because I trust the source.

Eyes of the heart, wonderful Ethiopian of the Ancient Cushnite, J California cooper and more, need to read more?

Home of the original bop city, oldest black own bookstore in the nation and because of a bill it's doors could be closed?

I never met Marcus but through his books I was able to meet him.

The  Philosophy and opinions of Marcus Garvey changed Mr & Ms. Richardson outlook too. Learning the legacy of consciousness with this aged black book store that always has a good book stored.

Their is a legacy in our history and historically this also includes Marcus Book stores.

The faces behind this bookstore is what makes the books more extraordinary and a necessity for the young and the old.

This is what it means and what it do to keep this bookstore in our community where others can come to this Nation oldest bookstore and like me who begun going here as a kid to explore and then before I know it turning 34 and still going here to buy more books from this same bookstore.

What do you have in Common with The Ocean?

Besides, the obvious, body of water what you also have in common with the ocean is the type of water it is. Salt Water. Did you know that? Salt Water. There is salt water in our blood, sweat and in our tears that's why the water is salty when we tear up. This is salt. Because of this, you should have more love for the ocean (even take care of it. How? How about seeing the outcome of BP Gulf Oil Spill?). The lifeblood of earth and for yourself without the other it would be hard for one to exist. Spend time by the Salt water in the biggest body of water there is and inhale the air. The body is amazing with basic elements composed of Melanin, cells & Salty water.

JFK good quote: “All of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea - whether it is to sail or to watch it - we are going back from whence we came.”

The 3rd Eye in Melanin

PictureMelanin Hue Chart
Melanin is considered Hueman beings "3rd eye" the Substance chemical that is located in the Center of your Mid brain. Melanin is ubiquitous, found everywhere. All Earthly natural entities have Melanin. Melanin is beyond just providing Color to the Iris, hair & Skin. When describing Melanin, it's most important attributes are just about always left out. This leaves out massive vital information on all the attributes Melanin role play's in our daily lives. The Sun plays a massive role in rhythmic people, cultural tribes, indigenous peoples, their essence and overall performance's & strength's of people with the Melanin protein. Melanin is activated by the Sun & keeps people of color alive by activating the Pineal Glands, through the skin, that allows Melanic People to continue living healthy life's. The Sun was once known to fight any infection or sickness just by letting the sun light energy concentrate into our pineal glands via our skin organ. Sun rays do not cause cancer to people of color, in fact, The Sun rays is exactly what Melanical people need in order to live in the Natural world as Natural inhabitants to planet Earth.

Melanin is also important to our eye sight and it's strength, how we see things and color. Melanin is what brings color to the surface of things and it's color creations range in all color things brown to green. The creativity in Animals skin also is because of Melanin! Colorful animals like "Black Frogs" & Butterflies with the most creative designs & colors are all examples of what Melanin can create in people of color and things of nature. After the Sun sets, Melanin is known to be most productive during the hours that are considered the "devils playground" hours. 11-2 am. During these hours the body should be at it's most comfortable rest, in REM [Rapid Eye Moment] usually around it's 3rd dream as the body does magic and it is important for people of color to know this so they can properly take care of the body - naturally not artificially by man made chemicals and medicine that may counteract toward Melanic People.

There is a different between Melanic People, those who possess Melanin and those who don't, non melanical people usually Albus. Melanin is responsible for gene's, characteristics, traits in people of color and those who may share this Nigra substance are most likely very similar, regardless of region or language spoken. All Melanical people are united by Melanin and therefore, realistically, should be classified, if not politically, by this instead of racial division that simply does just that, divide. Melanin is the reason behind the country named Melanesia and it is also referred to many different "Melanin [] Species by such. Melanin is in every living organism and is absent in albinism which also includes the albino classification Europid's. People of color and non people of color are different by the outer appearance and also by the inner make up of who we are as hue man people. Love you, Love your Melanin. B Melanic!

Dr. Nina Jablonski lecture on Melanin & Darwinism

Picture  Did you watch Dr. Nina lecture on Melanin & Darwinism. What did you think? (If you didn't, you can watch it here Skip to 12:35 if you wanna get right into it!) It may b a couple of things I would probably need some clarification on... but most of the major facts I would have to say I agree with. I loveeee when she says people like Obama shouldn't b behind desk doing desk jobs! She's right! We should be in the Sun! Under it, around it, shade from it, just outside captivating the energy & absorbing it. This is nature & the sun is what gives us ultimate health & life! Love to hear your thoughts! On US President Barrack Obama & his skin complexion:

"He resembles very closely people with modern pigmentation who live in Africa or Southeast Asia. These people have a tremendous potential to tan & develop pigment as a exposure to sun..but they also run the risk of vitamin d deficiency if they have desk jobs like that guy. Let's all wish for his great health & his awareness of his own skin pigmentation".

Reproduction, the male species & synthetic babies in a synthetic modern world

60 yrs ago synthetic chemicals were futuristic., Since then thousands of man made compounds have been created. Of the 80,000 chemicals in use, about 85% have never undergone testing for the impact of the human body! That means all the chemicals in baby items like baby bottles, can goods, beverages, plastic containers even personal care items & hair care products like shampoos & conditioners all contain chemicals that are being released into the air we breath...have never been tested for the affects on human beings and what it will do to them then and in longevity. "When you put lotion on where does it go? It doesn't go into the air, it goes into your body". It penetrates into your skin. "We have covered the Northern Hemisphere...[Related article here]

Infertility Rates are Rising as Sperm Counts Drop

One couple in the film described the waiting room at their infertility clinic as similar to an emergency room – packed with lines extending down the hall. Infertility is more common than many think these days. An estimated 1 in 6 American couples struggle with getting pregnant each year1 and there's compelling evidence that hormone-disrupting environmental chemicals are partly to blame.

The problem with low sperm counts has become so severe that the World Health Organization has had to continually drop what’s considered a ‘normal’ sperm count to lower and lower levels over the last several decades, lest too many men be classified as infertile. Chemicals that may disrupt sperm count

What are the causes of Color?

Picture

Do you know what causes the green pigment on plants, grass & vegetables predominately? Do you know what are the causes of color? I wanted to take this time to elaborate on Color & the "liquid sunshine" called Chlorophyll, from the Greek Chloros meaning yellowish green..
As you may already know, people of color & other entities in life have the hue's of black, brown, red & "yellow" due to the production of Melanin (which transmits the heat of the sun into energy that is absorbed to the skin from the sun). But do you know why plants are of color & green like the leaves, tree's & other wildlife?

We all have a pigment that produces color to our skin and like hue mans, other species also have a color that produces pigmentation to them also! Chlorophyll is the reason for the hues in plant life & in animal species. Hue man beings also need chlorophyll & digest it anytime they eat anything that has hue (color) especially if it's green..

Did you know the first Hue man beings were also green?.. More on that when time permits itself to. Do you know everything just about that we intake naturally they have made a pill for? There are even melatonin & chlorophyll herbal supplements. We naturally absorb these energies when contact with the sun or us intake greens.

In the mean time, I would like to reference this website, Chlorophyll absorbs certain wavelengths of light (similar to how hue mans do). It channels the energy of sunlight into chemical energy, converting it through the process of photosynthesis. In photosynthesis, chlorophyll absorbs energy to transform carbon Read more here

Related News: Do you have bad breath or have body odor? Chlorophyll is known to be a natural deodorize.

All green vegetables contain chlorophyll, especially leafy greens such as romaine lettuce, collard greens, parsley and turnip greens. Spinach in particular contains a very high concentration of chlorophyll: about 300 to 600 milligrams per ounce. A small serving of raw spinach every day would more than cover the dosage needed to remedy body odor and bad breath.

Melanin and Chloride. Why eat Green & how to eat green

  • Picture© Helga Kvam

Melanin and greens go hand in hand. If you are not eating enough Chloride, green pigment, these are some reasons why you should. For whatever reason, we are educated; taught and brought up, to discourage vegetables, "greens".

It is portrayed usually tainted and dreadful on just about anything (on ADs, Movies subliminally) to not like vegetables or consider them distasteful and to oppose them rather than embrace and eat them, right?

How many "subliminal" messages do we see on TV  of kids sitting at their table being forced to eat them? I know for a fact that this is done with ill intentions because greens is what hueman beings need in order to fight off all the toxic this society has shaped into our environment.

We have been deterring, embedded constantly to believe "educated - taught" visually through commercials and examples to not partake or enjoy greens, vegetables.

This reason is exploratory since not digesting enough greens is almost life threatening. Sending an unpleasant message at such an early age (to not like greens) only is beneficial to the ones embedding this message because it's not good for the hueman body to go without greens but it is an easy and open gateway to deteriorating your organ and making it immune to diseases, viruses, infections by weakening your immune system & your overall health & body.

The only thing besides water natural hueman beings need is color in their digestions and just about anything green. They prefer you eat a steak or chicken that is the worse at breaking down food energy and most likely will clog your arteries before any gives your body any nutrient or protein.

A salad or GREENS shouldn't be an Appetizer or a "side" item, NO, GREENS SHOULD BE YOUR MAIN MEAL. You want to take care of your body the most natural way possible if you are a person of color, especially.

The reason is because of people of color abundance of Melanin, the reason they are black and brown dominating. Chlorophyll is not only the pigmentation of vegetables, predominately green, it also contributes to how you will live since it absorbs the same light (sunlight) as huemans do & that light in turn turns it into energy (much like it does with hueman beings in day light). Greens also, not only support your immune system its improves it.

Read more on: Why Plants are Green @wisegeek

[Due to its green color, chlorophyll absorbs only part of the available light, so it might be asked why plants do not use a pigment that can use all the available energy: such a pigment would be black, as it would absorb all the light that strikes it].

    How to eat greens

You can eat greens, raw, cooked, boiled, steamed, grilled, in liquid (shakes). You can eat & cook greens just like you would with meat but in less time since cooking usually doesn't retain all the nutritional values (fiber, minerals, protein, calcium, folate and potassium, vitamins A, B, C & K - everything man made chemical pharmaceutical drugs can't and will never do).

You can eat greens by themselves (spinach, kelp, mustard greens, cucumbers, etc) or together in a salad tossed with romaine lettuce, or you can eat greens cooked right along with some fish like salmon, or shrimp, or in a bowl with some wild rice or whatever favorite cuisine you like. Like ranch dressing? Dip cauliflower florets or broccoli in it!

Greens, red, purple, green or cream, all just about taste good. Try tossing them with salt & pepper or salad dressing, some olive oil & lemon juice, or with some fruit seasoning like the one below! You are suppose to have greens in your daily dietary. Greens are good for life now and for longevity!

Note: It's amazing how many "cures" are associated with natures plants like aloe vera & marijuana yet, they still say they have no scientific claim to the benefits? How much more needs to be proof? Picture

Sing it & feel it! Things you should do that will make you feel good

How do you feel today? If you are not feeling like yourself, it could be because of the weather or it's just one of those days
We all have them.
Good thing is, you can do things that will make you feel good and these are some of the things.

Some things that make me feel good is going to the park, going on a walk just me, myself & I. Sometimes with my own personal thoughts & sometimes with some music to help me not to work up too much thoughts.

When I wake up and notice I am not feeling like myself, I dress to impress that day. I put on my best (on any day of the week) & I let it carry me. I put on my cloth & accessorize because accessories always make someone feel a whole lot better!

Colors are mood stimulator, you ain't know?

They are. Get the bright blue/teals, yellows & fuchsia's or any other neon colors out & let it draw you! Put on your favorite ring or bracelets & do your hair like you have been wanting to.

Later on in the day, go to the Art district & see the colors that painters paint with & picture your life as if you were drawing on your own canvas.

Take a dare! I never have done karaoke but when I did, I was hooked! Music, besides colors, also are great mood enhancer & when my favorite song came on I felt as if I was Alicia Keys, Beyonce & Whitney Houston. Yep, I did all 3 Artist & I can't tell you how good I felt afterwards. I was having fun & it felt good! Can't you tell?

Then, think about this when your body is winding down. Your life may have had you down earlier but tell me it couldn't be worse or that it ain't going to get any better?

People of Color: The Melanin Race

I have always, always had a problem with racial classifications. How can you possibly classify race? How can one with the same hair texture, same skin complexion, semi-features be classified under one or the other race?

Many people say there is no such thing as the "His panic" Race. No? Well if this isn't so, then how come his panics are in a separate category than let's say the white race or the black race?

We have all heard if it walks like a duck, talks like one, it is one right?

So, if someone has brown skin, is moreno"brown" or have darker pigment but is His panic, what race is this person? Surprisingly, on the census this person would be categorized as a Caucasian.

A Tribute to the Trails of Tears Tee "Rifles & Bibles"

Spending a long day with Cherokee Natives during the Pow Wow Weekend in TN, Red Mountains,  I became inspired to design a Tee specifically for what happened in that time to them people that slipping from what it seems further and further into history.

Although, Natives have a "reserved" place for their own little existence, National Park's and historical state sites shouldn't be the one addressing Native tales because often what you hear is the one sided version of "history" rather than.

Listening and eventually soaking in the feeling of "disturbance" that I could even hear from Elder Natives who just sat their silent, unspoken.

I felt obligated: Rifles and Bibles. For the weapons used and for the mission of why they came to "explore" and settle on lands already settled in.

This Tee pays a tribute to not only the Cherokee Trails of tears but all Indigenous natives in Melanin populated areas worlwide who have been or are currently being displaced for their own people and land wealth.

Here's a few images from my trip...

John Ross was elected Principal Chief of The Cherokees despite having only 1/8 Cherokee Blood.

Hundreds of "Indians" were Christianized and educated.

This is Sequoyah, often depict as a "White" Native although this is in dispute. Many says he was full blood native and others say he was a Half English man named George Gist, son of a Virgina Fur trader. As you can see from the Farmstead images, a Native then wouldn't look like him unless he was of mix races or as in many cases, the portrays usually "whitened". Whatever the case maybe, he came up with the "Indian" syllabary and with missionary Boudinot, the Indian-English newspaper.
